🙏🏽 Most Venerable Luang Phor Tim Attasanto of Wat Phra Khao 🙏🏽

Luang Phor Tim Attasanto, also known by his monastic title Phra Kru Sangwon Samanakit, was one of the great Buddhist masters of Ayutthaya in the 20th century. Born on March 10, 1913 in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, he became a highly respected figure of Wat Phra Khao, sometimes transcribed in the West as Wat Pakraow.

Former abbot of Wat Phra Khao, located in Bang Ban district, Luang Phor Tim was renowned for his monastic discipline, his great benevolence, and his spiritual radiance. He belonged to that generation of Thai monks deeply rooted in the practice of Dharma, the recitation of khatas, meditation, and the transmission of protective blessings.

After his ordination, he continued his study of Buddhist doctrine and obtained the level of Nak Tham Ek, a mark of solid religious training. He progressively became a local spiritual authority, then abbot of Wat Phra Khao, where he guided the faithful for many years.

In the field of Thai amulets, Luang Phor Tim is particularly known for his takrut, his blessed medals, and his sacred objects associated with protection, luck, serenity, and inner strength. His blessings are sought after by collectors and practitioners for their connection to the ancient tradition of Ayutthaya, the former royal capital of Siam.

The Most Venerable Luang Phor Tim passed away peacefully on March 22, 2009, at the age of 96. His memory remains alive at Wat Phra Khao, where his disciples continue to pay homage to him as a master of compassion, protection, and Buddhist wisdom.

For the faithful, the amulets consecrated by Luang Phor Tim are not just old objects. They are considered to be sources of blessing, spiritual presence, and inner confidence, connecting the wearer to the sacred lineage of the masters of Ayutthaya.
