The Trungwa and Dta'Grol (also written Tagrol , or Tadrol )
are amulets composed of a pentacle,
of mantra and various sacred substances,
placed in a fabric bag.

In the case of some of these amulets, the Tibetan tradition
assures that simply wearing one of these amulets gives assurance
the bearer to achieve Enlightenment upon death, provided however
to burn the amulet at the same time as his body!
Other Dtagrol amulets are known to bring Awakening upon simple contact
or that simply seeing these amulets purifies Karma.

Dtagrol amulets can have a large number of varied powers,
depending on the pentacle and the deity to which they are dedicated.
