Brahma Amulets (Phra Phrom)

🕉 Sacred amulets of God Brahma 🕉
( Phra Phrom )

This collection contains all the amulets and sacred representations of the god Brahma, known in Thailand as Phra Phrom (พระพรหม). He is one of the most venerated figures in the Hindu pantheon, often depicted with four faces and eight arms , a symbol of his omnidirectional wisdom and many divine attributes.

In ancient Hindu tradition, Brahma is the Creator of the universe , the first member of the sacred trinity (Trimūrti) alongside Vishnu (the Preserver) and Shiva (the Destroyer). He is the embodiment of pure creative consciousness , the one who establishes cosmic laws, the cycles of time, and the visible and invisible worlds.

Phra Phrom is also very popular in Thailand, where he is revered for his ability to grant prosperity, luck, protection and wish fulfillment . He is said to have the ability to see all situations in their entirety thanks to his four faces, and to influence them through his multiple arms holding symbolic objects (sacred book, scepter, rosary, blessing vase, etc.).

These amulets are said to attract abundance, alleviate karmic obstacles , and protect homes or businesses . They are often blessed through hybrid Brahmanic or Buddhist rituals, reflecting the rich interconnectedness of spiritual traditions in Southeast Asia.

The White Brahma of Tibetan Buddhism

Tshangspa Dkarpo

In the Tibetan pantheon, Tshangspa Dkarpo is known as the "White Brahma," a figure both noble and feared. This powerful Dharmapala (Dharma Protector) embodies the transfigured aspect of an ancient warrior deity, who became converted to protect the Buddha's teachings.

Depicted in white (or as an armored general), he rides a flaming white horse and holds a sword or lasso in one hand and sometimes a bowl containing jewels in the other. His turban, adorned with a conch shell and sometimes peacock feathers, symbolizes his celestial function. Although he is related to Brahmā by name, he plays no creative role but rather that of a fierce guardian, now dedicated to the light after a tumultuous past.

Legend has it that he was once a destructive entity until he attempted to attack the Dakini Ekadjati. In a ferocious act of wisdom, she struck him with her sacred garment, paralyzing and transforming him forever. Since then, Tshangspa Dkarpo has served as a guardian of sincere practitioners, offering his strength to dispel illness, danger, and obstacles on the spiritual path.

Tshangs-pa Dkar-po

Less terrifying than other Dharmapalas , but just as effective, he embodies a luminous form of vigilance. He is particularly invoked for protection , healing and longevity .

🪷 If you are looking for an amulet to open paths, support your projects, or connect you to the creative force of the universe, a representation of Brahma will accompany you in your daily prayers and rituals.
