Luang Phor Foo of Wat Bang Samak

The Most Venerable Luang Phor Foo Atipatho (Wat Bang-Samak)

This collection is dedicated to the Most Venerable Luang Phor Foo Atipatho (1923–2021), abbot of Wat Bang-Samak in Chachoengsao Province. An accomplished master, he was known both for his profound knowledge of the Dharma and for his active compassion towards living beings, especially animals. He also held the monastic title of Tan Jaokhun Phra Mongkhon Sutthikhun .

An heir to powerful spiritual lineages

Luang Phor Foo was one of the best disciples of the highly revered Luang Phor Ding Khungkasuwanno (Wat Bang Hua) and Luang Phor Khong Suwanno (Wat Wang Supparod). He spent many years in Thudong retreat, meditating as a hermit in the jungle, like the legendary Phra Siwali .

An accomplished esoteric master, he also received the transmission of the extremely rare Plooksek Seuar ritual (tiger blessing) from the very venerable Luang Phor Parn of Wat Khlong Dan.

Powerful amulets, forged with compassion

The creations blessed by LP Foo are varied, precise, and powerful. They include magical objects suited for healing, protection, and spiritual fertility:

  • Palat Kick : health and charm amulets, often carved from rare medicinal wood
  • Phra Somdej : sacred relic stone, linked to the tradition of Phra Puttajarn Toh
  • Chuchok : to attract abundance and generosity
  • Meedh Moh : ritual daggers for exorcism and advanced protection

LP Foo was personally involved in blessing rituals, whether through the use of sacred ingredients, intensive prayer, or traditional offerings to local spirits. His connection to the sacred white elephants, which he personally fed at Si Chatchanalai Park, is a testament to his deep respect for all living things.
