Thai Amulets of the Most Venerable Lersi Peth Dam (1935 - 2015).

The Most Venerable Lersi Pethchalukarm, better known as Lersi Peth Dam ("the Black Diamond"), is one of the most prominent figures in the tradition of Lersi hermits in Thailand. Born in 1935 in the Ubon Ratchathani region, he spent several decades living as a hermit deep in the forest, dedicating his life to meditation, asceticism, and the study of ancient sacred sciences. A disciple and friend of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Prohmma, and close to the Most Venerable Luang Phor Kambo, he was considered by his disciples to be an authentic representative of the Shivaite lineage of the Lersi and an avatar of Pethchalukarm, the mythical architect of the Universe. Despite his great reputation, Lersi Peth Dam led a disarmingly simple life, living in a modest garage converted into a samnak. Endowed with an irresistible sense of humor, he did not hesitate to ridicule false mediums claiming to be Lersi, reminding with his smile and sincerity that true wisdom is always accompanied by humility. Having passed away in 2015, he remains one of the last great traditional hermits of Thailand and a deeply respected figure among lovers of Thai spirituality.
