These small iron Phurba are made of 30% iron from links
of one of the famous Chakzampa (Iron Bridge) built almost
600 years by Mahasiddha Thangtong Gyalpo (1385 - 1509).

Nowadays iron Phurba are rarely found in Nepal,
the vast majority of modern production is now in bronze
(because it is much easier to work with by molding).

with sand and oil them, the patina comes little by little).
