Ancient reliquary containing an amulet of Luang Phor Ngern (Wat Bang Klan, Pijit)

This antique papier-mâché reliquary painted with golden floral motifs contains a large, highly patinated bronze amulet of the venerable Luang Phor Ngern (1810 – 1919) of Wat Bang Klan (Pijit province). Under the venerable's amulet is a nugget of golden metal , numerous multicolored Sarira beads and blue luminescent sand evoking celestial offerings.
I discovered that the sand and some of the sarira in this reliquary react to UV rays a bit by chance because a few months ago I started collecting uraline objects and now "test" a bit of everything and anything with my little magic lamp 🎇

This unique and deeply inspiring piece comes directly from a private collector in Nakhon Pathom . Its understated yet mystical appearance is a testament to authentic devotional craftsmanship and great respect for the venerated Luang Phor Ngern, a major figure in Thai tradition.

💠 It is said that the ancient amulets of Luang Phor Ngern radiate the power of prosperity and protection: the sarira beads and the blue sand, true condensations of blessings, amplify the merits of those who take care of them with faith.
