This authentic antique piece from the Kingdom of Bhutan, minted in 1955 during the reign of King Jigme Wangchuk (1952-1972), has been mounted as a pendant using a custom-made metal reliquary. This mounting is completely reversible and requires no drilling or modification of the coin, thus preserving its integrity.

The reverse features several traditional symbols of Buddhist and Himalayan inspiration as well as Tibetan characters, while the other side is adorned with various protective and auspicious emblems typical of Bhutan from that era.
