Copper vase filled with Mendroup ( Dutsi Tcheumen )
by the Most Venerable Lama Wangdu Rinpoche .
*
Mendrup is the most sacred substance in Tibetan tradition,
ancient tantras say that after the Dharma ,
This is the most precious thing a Master can give to his disciples.
*
These pills can be kept as relics,
consumed in case of illness
(see them as a blessing and not as medicine)
and also burned on a coal like incense to consecrate a place.
*
Tradition says that the Mendroup
is sometimes able to multiply spontaneously
if we have enough merit and we share it
with other Dharma practitioners.
