🌿 Sangye Menla Medicine Buddha and Po Shiwok Medal consecrated in 2013 at Wat Dong Noi

This sacred medal brings together two great figures of spiritual healing on one piece: the Medicine Buddha Sangye Menla on one side, and the King of Healers Po Shiwok on the other. It was consecrated in 2013 at Wat Dong Noi, Lopburi, as part of a limited series sponsored by the Woon Brothers Charitable Foundation.

Made of blued copper during a fire offering ritual, this medal possesses a particular ritual presence. The deep hue of the metal evokes transmutation, purification, and sacred medicine, in a tradition where fire becomes a vector of blessing and spiritual charge.

The Medicine Buddha, revered in Tibetan Buddhism as Sangye Menla, is associated with the healing of physical, mental, and karmic suffering. Po Shiwok, on the other hand, is honored in the Thai world as the master of remedies, medicinal knowledge, and compassion applied to relieving beings.
