Ancient Bia Gae Amulet from the Most Venerable Luang Pho Kham (1889-1960)

This magnificent ancient Bia Gae is attributed to the Most Venerable Luang Pho Kham Panyasaro (Phrakru Wittaramanakit 1889-1960), former abbot of Wat Pho Plam (also known as Wat Phothitham Chotiyaram), in Ang Thong Province, in the heart of central Thailand.

Recognized as one of the great masters of his region during the first half of the 20th century, Luang Pho Kham gained a solid reputation for the spiritual quality of his Bia Gae, Look Sakot, Takrut, and other protective objects. His creations are now particularly sought after by Thai collectors.

This Bia Gae features an ancient cowrie shell carefully encased in its traditional dark lead coating engraved with yant, in a traditional twisted metal wire braiding, giving it a sober and authentic presentation.

In Thai tradition, the Bia Gae is considered a powerful talisman intended to repel negative influences, strengthen spiritual protection, and accompany its owner through difficult times.
