Rare Phra Somdej Amulet (Wat Chong Khae – 1980s)

This very rare Phra Somdej amulet was consecrated in the 1980s by the venerable Luang Phor Phrom Thawaro (1903–1991) , a direct disciple of the legendary Luang Phor Derm of Wat Nong Pho .

On the front, the Buddha is depicted sitting in meditation under an arch, adorned with hand-applied gold leaf . On the back, there is a faded temple seal and a piece of traditional Thai red and white scarf (pha khao ma) , inserted to enhance the amulet's protective power and blessing.

Wat Chong Khae , in Nakhon Sawan province, is one of Thailand's most famous temples for its protective amulets. It owes its reputation to the charismatic Luang Phor Derm, whose disciples, like Luang Phor Phrom, have continued to perpetuate the tradition and spiritual power.
