Authenticnine-tiered Phra Somdej consecrated in the 1990s at Wat Don Kaeo Mae Ramat (Tak Province). The front side shows the classic posture of the Buddha seated on nine tiers, a symbol of spiritual progression and inner stability.
Condition and particularities: The amulet has marked cracks, especially on the back. The reverse side bears an image of the famous white marble Buddha Phra Hin On (พระหินอ่อน) . The cracks, visible on the ancient material, reinforce its period character and sacred aura.
About Wat Don Kaeo Mae Ramat
Located in a border district between mountains and forests, Wat Don Kaeo Mae Ramat is renowned for its large white marble Buddha, Phra Hin On , in the Mandalay style. Local tradition tells of a long historical journey from Burma to Mae Ramat in the early 20th century. The temple preserves a wooden viharn and decorations from northern Thailand, as well as works recounting the statue's arrival.
