Phra Pang Pa Leelai Amulet (Wednesday Buddha) from Wat Hua Lamphong

This Thai Buddhist amulet depicts Phra Pang Pa Leelai, the Buddha posture traditionally associated with Wednesday evening.

The Buddha is shown standing, surrounded by an elephant and a monkey who have come to pay homage to him in the forest. This sacred scene evokes the Buddha's retreat into the Palileyyaka forest, where animals cared for him after he withdrew from a monastic community divided by disputes.

This amulet belongs to the Roon Niwit Kitjapon edition, made in 1993 for the construction of the ordination hall at Wat Hua Lamphong, a famous Buddhist temple located in Bangkok.

La Magie du Bouddha

The golden figure of the Buddha stands out against a sacred beige material containing fine inclusions. Beside him, the elephant and monkey recall the benevolence of the animal world towards one who remains in peace, wisdom, and self-control.

Phra Pang Pa Leelai is traditionally invoked to soothe conflicts, develop patience, foster diplomacy, and restore harmony in difficult situations. This Buddha posture is particularly suitable for people born on a Wednesday evening, but it can be worn by anyone seeking inner calm and spiritual protection.
