Phra Kring Jao Mae Guan Yin Amulet – First Edition 1993 – Wat Phra That Wayo

A very beautiful and ancient Thai Buddhist amulet representing Jao Mae Guan Yin, the great protector of compassion and mercy, in the form of a Phra Kring amulet.

This amulet is the first edition of this model, made in 1993 to mark the completion of the construction of the great Chedi of Wat Phra That Wayo, in Chachoengsao province.

The Guan Yin statuette has a beautiful golden finish and is protected in a new, custom-made golden metal reliquary, richly decorated with traditional multi-coloured enamel motifs.

In Buddhist tradition, Guan Yin embodies infinite compassion and listens to the sufferings of beings. She is particularly revered as a benevolent protector and invoked to bring peace, compassion, serenity and protection to those who place their trust in her.
