Amulet by Luang Phor Haeng (Master Gak Ngeng) First Edition (1994)

This ancient amulet by Luang Phor Haeng, also known by his Chinese religious name Gak Ngeng, was made during the first edition in the Buddhist year 2537 (1994) at Wat Tham Khao Noi, in Kanchanaburi province.

Made from sacred white powder, it depicts the venerable monk seated in meditation in front of a protective arch. The reverse features several sacred Chinese characters and a traditional yant intended to reinforce the amulet's blessings.

Biography of Luang Phor Haeng

Luang Phor Haeng, known by his Chinese religious name Gak Ngeng, was a Buddhist master of Chinese origin who arrived in Thailand in 1883 during the reign of King Rama V. He settled in a cave in Khao Noi where he founded the temple now known as Wat Tham Khao Noi, also called the Dragon Mountain Temple.

He led a life of extreme austerity, dedicated to meditation, vegetarianism, and the study of yant and Chinese talismans. Devotees came from all over the region to receive his holy water and talismans intended to bring protection, healing, and blessings.

After his passing, a local tradition tells that his body remained remarkably preserved. His reputation for sanctity continued to grow, and he remains today one of the most respected masters in the Kanchanaburi region.
