Khuman Thong amulet in gilded bronze consecrated by the Very Venerable Luang Phor Phong Titajaro
This gilded bronze Khuman Thong was consecrated by the Venerable Luang Phor Phong Titajaro (1907-2015) of Wat Panom Lamduan in Ubon Ratchathani. Its base contains a paste of sacred plants and relics, according to the tradition of amulets for protection and spiritual support.
A fun and well-known anecdote surrounds this piece: the disciples of the Venerable Luang Phor Phong wanted to create Roop Lor amulets bearing the Master's likeness. They attempted three times to create a faithful mold, but the results were rather disappointing. The final mold eventually gave birth to these Khuman Thong, which have become sought after for their unique character and captivating history.
