🌄 This amulet depicts Shakyamuni Buddha in the form known as Phra Puttha Metta Pratanpon (the historical Buddha, making the teaching mudra), an iconography associated with benevolence, universal compassion, and the diffusion of metta energy. Consecrated in 2021 at Wat Phra Putthabat, a major Buddhist pilgrimage site in Saraburi province, this amulet is part of an ancient tradition of blessings linked to faith, protection, and spiritual elevation. Several Venerables from the Saraburi region participated in the consecration of this series of amulets and provided the ritual ingredients for their creation (including earth brought back from pilgrimages to India and Nepal to the five sacred Buddhist sites: Lumbini, Bodh Gaya, Sarnath, Kushinagar, etc.).
The Buddha is depicted seated in meditation, radiating calm and inner stability. This posture symbolizes balance of mind, peace of heart, and the ability to spread a calming influence around oneself.
