This ancient terracotta votive tablet from the Bueng Kan region of northeastern Thailand is an object steeped in history and folk faith. Carved on both sides , it features a figure of the Buddha seated in meditation in a primitive style , probably once used as an offering in a rural shrine or local stupa.
