Sarira Relic Beads – Sacred Caves of Khao Sam Roi Yot – Antique Metal Reliquary (1980s)
A rare and mystical wonder : these sacred pearls are genuine Sarira relics , discovered in the caves of the Khao Sam Roi Yot Natural Park , a sacred place steeped in history and legend. Coming from a private collection , these pieces are exceptionally rare, and I have only been able to obtain a very limited number.
Origin and tradition
In ancient Thai Buddhist tradition, certain crystalline, ever-changing beads are identified as relics of Arahants —fully enlightened masters who left their bodies centuries ago. It is believed that some of them completed their spiritual retreat in the sacred caves of Khao Sam Roi Yot , secluded from the world.
These relics are said to be self-generated or materialized following sacred cremation or miraculous manifestation. They are associated with powerful benefits: purity of karma, wisdom, protection, and spiritual inspiration.
