Phra Somdej / Phra Siwali in wood carved by the very venerable Luang Pu Mahasila (Wat Phosi Saab, Kalasin)
This magnificent double-sided amulet combines the serene power of Buddha Phra Somdej with the blessing of the wandering monk Phra Siwali , a symbol of good luck and prosperity on the spiritual path. Hand-carved from sacred wood, it is a testament to refined craftsmanship and deep Buddhist fervor.
This amulet is part of a very limited series (only a few dozen pieces) sculpted by a young monk Phra Siwali, disciple of Luang Pu Mahasilla.
Each piece has been blessed by the Most Venerable Luang Pu Mahasila (born 1947), a monk emeritus of Wat Phosi Saab in Kalasin Province. Known for his austere life and compassionate rituals, Luang Pu Mahasila continues the lineage of ancient masters from Northeast Thailand, combining meditation and the transmission of merit.
Phra Somdej represents the meditating Buddha, guaranteeing stability, faith, and protection from hardship. Phra Siwali , a pilgrim monk bringing blessings, attracts good luck, success in endeavors, and guidance on the path of Dharma.
