A superb double amulet featuring a classical terracotta representation of the Buddha Phra Somdej, finely cast in a meditative posture on a triple base. The back of the amulet is adorned with an antique yant carved into the mass, reinforcing the protective and blessing power of this piece.
This amulet is accompanied by an ancient portrait of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Waen Sujinno (1887-1985), one of the most respected monks in Northern Thailand, renowned for his spiritual powers and exceptional ascetic practice. The portrait (set in metal and glass) also dates from the 1980s, probably distributed in a context of veneration or commemoration at Wat Doi Mae Pang (Chiang Mai), his monastery residence.
The whole has been carefully preserved in a custom-made gilded reliquary , adorned with traditional motifs set with brilliant stones. A unique piece, rare both in its configuration and its antiquity.
