🙏 Ancient Roop Lor amulet of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Doem (Wat Nongpo, 1860–1951)
This rare patinated bronze Roop Lor amulet depicts the Most Venerable Luang Phor Doem (หลวงพ่อเดิม), one of the most respected masters of Thai Buddhism. Born in 1860 and died in 1951, Luang Phor Doem was the abbot of Wat Nongpo (วัดหนองโพ) in Nakhon Sawan province. He is renowned for his ascetic life, his profound mastery of the sacred sciences, and his ability to bless extremely powerful amulets of invulnerability.
This Roop Lor model depicts him meditating, wearing his traditional monastic robes. Despite the erosion of time, the power of his presence still radiates through this ancient effigy. An ancient inscription can be seen beneath the base, likely his name or the name of the temple.
