Small ancient pig amulet carved from bone (probably wild boar bone).

According to the collector from whom I obtained this amulet,
It is said to have been carved in small numbers in 1947 by Venerable Ajarn Heng Phraiwan (1885 - 1959) for the Year of the Fire Pig.

Ajarn Heng Phraiwan was a highly regarded Lay Master and Sak Yant tattooist from the Ayuthaya region, a disciple of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Glan (Wat Phraya Tigaram)
and close friend of the Most Venerable Luang Phor See (Wat Sakae).

This amulet is offered to you in a waterproof reliquary partly filled with sacred oil (note that the reliquary is quite worn, it seems about 30 years old).
