Rare Thai Buddha Phra Khunpen Charm Amulets
made and blessed in the 1980s by the Most Venerable LP Suwang

These Phra Khunpen amulets were made one by one by the Most Venerable LP Suwang and show quite strong variations from one piece to another.

These Phra Khunpen amulets were made one by one by the Most Venerable LP Suwang and show quite strong variations from one piece to another.
On some we see a rooster on Phra Khunpen's knees for example.
On the back there is a relic of the monk's robe of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Suwang, a sacred Takut scroll and the whole thing is covered with a handwritten Yant drawn by the Venerable.
Most of these amulets are made of blackened terracotta,
because they are cooked in a wood fire outside during a ritual.

I obtained these amulets directly from a disciple of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Suwang (the young monk in the photo above, who has now returned to laymanhood and is a middle-aged man).
