Thai amulets of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Phuead of Wat Makok.

Luang Phor Phuead du wat makok

The Most Venerable Luang Phor Phuead of Wat Makok.

This collection pays tribute to the Most Venerable Luang Phor Phuead (1927–2005), abbot of Wat Makok (the Olive Tree Temple) in Taling-Chan, Bangkok. The last representative of a rare lineage, he was one of the ultimate disciples of the legendary Luang Phor Doem, and a recognized master in traditional Thai magical arts, particularly in the crafting of Meedh Moh ritual daggers and Bia Geow amulets.

An heir to powerful magical lineages

Luang Phor Phuead was trained by several exceptional masters, including the Most Venerable Luang Phor Raw of Wat Nai Rong and Grand Ajarn Thiang of Wat Thong. These varied influences forged a Master with rich knowledge and powerful blessings, blending protection, authority, and an understanding of the most advanced esoteric rituals.

A journey of asceticism and exploration

Little known to the general public but highly respected in initiated circles, Luang Phor Phuead traveled throughout Thailand and even to Malaysia on foot, to receive transmissions from local Masters. There, he learned traditional cobra training techniques, as well as magical rituals specific to the people of the South.

Rare blessings, powerful objects

Luang Phor Phuead personally blessed the objects he consecrated, each being the result of a precise intention and rigorous ritual. Here are some examples of his legendary creations:

  • Meedh Moh Daggers – protection rituals, exorcism, authority
  • Bia Geow Amulets – defense against wandering spirits and negative energies
  • Snake Charmer's Palat Kick – charm, protection against occult venoms
  • Nam Man Prai Sacred Oil – rare traditional charm elixir
Fortune Geckos – attracting wealth and luck
  • Kwai Tanoo – protective totem against occult attacks

His last major series of Meedh Moh daggers is highly sought after by collectors today, considered a ultimate work of his magical knowledge.

I had the chance to meet the Most Venerable Luang Phor Phuead in 2004; he was a benevolent Venerable, yet imbued with undeniable spiritual strength.
