Phra Somdej Wat Paknam Amulet, Seventh Edition from 1992, Run Banchu Nai Chedi

This Phra Somdej Wat Paknam amulet belongs to the series known as Run Banchu Nai Chedi Thi Maha Wihan Hin On Praditsathan Phra Traipidok, in Thai รุ่นบรรจุในเจดีย์ที่มหาวิหารหินอ่อนประดิษฎานพระไตรปิฎก.

This is the seventh edition, produced on February 1, 1992. This series was created by mixing sacred powders from previous editions, from the first to the sixth edition, to transmit the spiritual continuity of Wat Paknam's ancient blessings.

Some of these amulets were intended to be placed in the chedi of Wat Paknam, while others were offered to donors who contributed to the construction of the Tripitaka pavillion at the temple.

The front side features a meditating Buddha in the Phra Somdej style, centered in a sacred niche. The reverse bears raised Thai inscriptions, recalling the ritual purpose of this series linked to the chedi and the Maha Wihan Hin On.
This amulet can serve as a physical support for Wisha Dharmakaya meditative practices; a diagram detailing the basics of this meditation is on the back of the temple's certificate of authenticity for these amulets.
Please note that these amulets are over 30 years old, and their color has become quite variable (between white and creamy white).

Features:

  • 🙏 Master: Somdej Phra Maha Ratcha Mangalacharn (a direct disciple of the very venerable Luang Phor Sodh Candassaro, then Abbot of Wat Paknam)
  • 🛕 Temple: Wat Paknam
  • ✨ Deity: Buddha Phra Somdej
  • ☸ Temple paper + its translation
  • 📐 Dimensions: 30 mm X 25 mm
  • ⚓ Weight: approximately 14 grams
  • Reliquary: New custom-made stainless steel reliquary decorated with traditional motifs.

According to the tradition associated with this amulet, whoever receives and carries it can keep it as a constant protection during their travels. It is also linked to protection against dangers and the fulfillment of favorable wishes when the practitioner prays with faith and respects the Venerable's teachings.

This amulet is particularly interesting for collectors of Phra Somdej from Wat Paknam, as well as for practitioners seeking an amulet linked to the Tripitaka, the merit of donors, and the continuity of sacred powders from ancient editions.

🪷 In its soft, silent whiteness, this Phra Somdej seems to carry the memory of Wat Paknam's ancient sacred powders. It evokes the merit of the faithful, the protection of the Buddha, and the peaceful faith of those who advance on the path with confidence.
