🕯️ Sacred Teardrop Amulet Luang Phor Ophassi and Phaya Kruth
This teardrop-shaped Thai amulet features on one side the highly revered Luang Phor Ophassi seated in meditation, surrounded by delicate relief ornamentation. On the other side appears a powerful Phaya Kruth wearing a temple boundary marker Séma, accompanied by the Pali inscription ITISUKATO. The whole exudes an ancient spiritual presence, both protective and solemn.
This limited series was consecrated at Wat Bang Mod in Bangkok in 1987. It combines the blessing of a revered master and the symbolic strength of the king of sacred winged creatures. The Phaya Kruth, a celestial guardian and emblem of righteous power, is here associated with the Séma, a symbol of sacred territory and protection of the religious domain.
