This rare Phra Pairee Phinat (รุ่นธิคายูโกโหตุสังฆราชา) amulet was solemnly blessed in 2013 at Wat Bowonniwet Viharn in Bangkok, under the presidency of His Holiness Somdej Phra Sangharaj , then Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, during the ceremonies marking his centenary .
Crafted from traditional sacred powders and finely cast, this amulet depicts the Buddha Phra Pairee Phinat seated within a decorated arch, a symbol of spiritual victory and sovereign protection. The reverse bears the patriarch's royal emblem.
📜 About Phra Pairee Phinat Buddha
The Buddha Phra Pairee Phinat (พระไพรีพินาศ), whose name literally means "He who conquers enemies," originates from the ancient Sriwijaya period. The original statue was presented to King Rama IV while he was still a monk at Wat Bowon. According to tradition, after receiving this statue, all threats and hostilities around him miraculously disappeared, and he himself named it Phra Pairee Phinat , "the Buddha who triumphs over adversities." Since then, this image has been revered as a symbol of victory, protection, and lasting prosperity .
