Rare antique Phom Nam Mön ritual blessing accessory with 4 Phra Khunpen amulets – Early 20th century
A rare and ancient ritual object used for blessings by sprinkling sacred water ( Nam Mön ) , this Phom Nam Mön dates from the beginning of the 20th century . It is made of natural fibers and has a handle covered with ancient cord , as well as a support decorated with four Phra Khunpen amulets , an exceptional and highly symbolic feature.

This type of small sacred broom is used by Ajarn monks or ritual masters to bless worshippers with lustral water. It is dipped into a container of holy water ( Nam Mön ) and then shaken to sprinkle it on worshippers, objects or amulets, thus conferring protection, luck and purification .
