Rare Ancient Thai Voodoo Statuette of the Sacred Kwai Tanoo Buffalo in Lacquered Sacred Earth and Wrapped in Sai Sin

This ancient statuette depicts the mysterious Kwai Tanoo, the sacred buffalo of Thai esoteric traditions. Made of sacred earth, it is entirely wrapped in Sai Sin thread, then covered with an ancient black lacquer enhanced with gold leaf, according to traditional methods used in certain Thai protective magic rituals.

For centuries, the buffalo has held an essential place in Thailand's rural beliefs. An animal of strength, endurance, and prosperity, it is sometimes consecrated during ceremonies intended to attract wealth, protect crops, ward off harmful influences, and strengthen household stability.

Kwai Tanoo statuettes have now become relatively rare, especially when they exhibit an ancient ritual patina, a complete wrapping of Sai Sin, and visible traces of black lacquer and gold attesting to numerous successive blessings.

Features:

  • Deity: Kwai Tanoo (Sacred Buffalo)
  • 💫 Benefits/Powers: Protection, prosperity, stability, strength, abundance
  • 📐 Dimensions: 7 cm X 5 cm
  • Weight: Approximately 62 grams

This ancient piece also serves as a remarkable testament to popular traditions blending Buddhism, animism, and Thai ritual magic. Each wrapping of Sai Sin symbolically contributes to the concentration of blessings accumulated during consecrations.

🐃 A symbol of patience, silent power, and abundance, the Kwai Tanoo discreetly watches over its guardian. In Thai esoteric tradition, it attracts prosperity, protects possessions, and reminds us that true strength lies in perseverance rather than violence.
