This sacred pillar must be used with respect. It is recommended to recite the Buddha's name or a mantra while installing it. It is also recommended not to place it in a place of disorder, nor near impure or violent objects.

- Do not install the pillar on a day of family conflict or after an argument.
- Do not kill, steal, lie, or consume intoxicants in the house for 1 day after installation.
- Do not have sexual relations or consume meat on the day of installation.
- Avoid any hurtful words, rumors or unnecessary gossip for 24 hours after the ritual.
