Large Jatukham Rammathep and Phra Pidta amulet – Wat Phra Mahathat (2007)

Superb and imposing double-sided multi-colored amulet in sacred paste, representing on the obverse the divine protector Jatukham Rammathep in a radiant posture, and on the reverse the occult protective Buddha Phra Pidta , guardian of secrets and master of silence.

This piece was created in 2007 and solemnly dedicated to Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan ( Nakhon Sri Thammarat ), a legendary sanctuary in southern Thailand, renowned for its antiquity and the power of its ceremonies.

The amulet is composed of multicolored sacred powders, relic fragments, incense residue, blessed herbs, and sacred soils from holy sites throughout the kingdom. It incorporates a metal takut insert on the back in the figure of Phra Pidta.

This type of double representation is rare and highly symbolic: it combines active and visible protection (Jatukham) with internal and occult protection (Phra Pidta).

  • Diameter : 6 cm.
  • Weight : 52 grams
  • Reliquary : New custom-made reliquary in stainless steel engraved with traditional motifs.

Two faces of the same mystery. Jatukham Rammathep, radiating like the sun on the southern horizon, repels hostile forces, guides the path, attracts wealth, and protects his loved ones. Phra Pidta, meanwhile, closes the doors of the visible world, conceals the treasures of the heart, and renders the soul inaccessible to evil spells. This amulet, like a celestial medal with two faces of the Dharma, connects its wearer to the protective realms of the ancient God-Kings and hidden Buddhas.
