🔆 Phra Khunpen Sakkathap Amulet from Wat Pa Lelai, consecrated in 2020 for the centenary of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Keow Sirinatharo
This rare Phra Khunpen Sakkathap amulet was consecrated in BE 2563 (2020) at the famous Wat Pa Lelai in Suphanburi, on the occasion of the hundredth birthday of the most venerable Luang Phor Keow Sirinatharo, also known as Luang Phor Sa-ing and Phra Tham Phutti Mongkol.
This exceptional series was made from a vast variety of ancient sacred materials from places linked to the legends of Khun Chang Khun Phaen and the ancient magical traditions of Suphanburi and Kanchanaburi.
Among the sacred ingredients incorporated into this amulet are:
- Fragments of ancient Khun Phaen amulets from Wat Ban Krang
- Damaged or broken ancient Phra Phong Suphan
- Ancient bricks and earth from Wat Pa Lelai
- Fragments of "sacred skin" (accumulation of gold leaf offered by devotees) naturally detached from the giant Buddha Luang Phor Toh
- Sacred earth and bricks from Wat Som Yai, Wat Ban Tham, Wat Tai (now Wat Nang No), Wat Khun Phaen and many other places linked to Khun Chang Khun Phaen
- Nearly a hundred esoteric and medicinal plants
- Ancient magical powders preserved since the time of Luang Phor Thira
- Many psychic minerals from sacred caves
The reverse of the amulet depicts a sacred protective form of Phra Rahu surrounded by ritual motifs and traditional symbols associated with the ancient magical arts of Suphanburi. The front shows a meditating Phra Khunpen in a royal posture surrounded by sacred ornaments.
