🙏🏽 Rare Portrait Amulet of the Venerable Phra Kru Opasanawakij of Wat Ban Mai Nakhon Nayok (1975)

This rare 1975 Thai amulet contains a portrait of the venerable Phra Kru Opasanawakij, also known as Phrakru Ophat Nawakit, a revered monk from Wat Ban Mai in Nakhon Nayok province. This ancient piece stands out for its simple and traditional presentation, centered on the blessed image of the venerable.

The amulet contains three takuts, ritual elements often associated with protection, spiritual strength, and the transmission of monastic blessings. On the reverse side is a yant pentacle, a sacred symbol of esoteric protection, intended to enhance the spiritual power of the piece and accompany the faithful in their daily lives.

Due to its age, ritual composition, and the combined presence of the sacred portrait, the three takuts, and the yant on the back, this amulet is a particularly interesting collector's item for enthusiasts of ancient blessed objects from Thai Buddhism.

Features:

  • 🙏 Master: Phra Kru Opasanawakij
  • 🛕 Temple: Wat Ban Mai, Nakhon Nayok Province
  • 📐 Dimensions: 25 mm X 20 mm
  • ⚓ Weight: approximately 5 grams
  • Reliquary: vintage sealed plastic reliquary

As much a devotional object as a protective talisman, this ancient amulet testifies to a monastic tradition where the image of the master, the sacred takuts, and the yant form a harmonious whole imbued with spiritual presence.

🪔 In this small silent image lies the trace of an ancient blessing. The venerable's gaze seems to still watch over time, while the three takuts and the yant pentacle whisper discreet, deep, and faithful protection. This amulet carries within it the memory of a rite, the strength of a transmission, and the solemn peace of consecrated objects.
