Rare large black nine-tiered Phra Somdej amulet consecrated around 1950 by the Most Venerable Luang Phor La of Wat Khaeng Koi (Saraburi).

Rare antique amulet consecrated around 1950-52 by the very venerable Luang Phor La , former abbot of Wat Khaeng Koi in Saraburi province. This black amulet represents the Buddha seated on nine levels , a symbol of progressive spiritual elevation towards Enlightenment.

The back of the amulet is adorned with the Buddha's five-letter Yant ( Na Mo Put Ta Ya ), a yant renowned for its protective power and blessing virtues, used in many schools of sacred magic in Thailand.

    The Most Venerable Luang Phor La, former abbot of Wat Kaeng Khoi in Saraburi Province, is a respected figure in Thai Buddhism. He was reportedly born in Ubon Ratchathani Province in northeastern Thailand and ordained as a monk at Wat Khorthong .

    Wat Kaeng Khoi, founded in 1787, is a Theravada Buddhist monastery located in central Thailand, in Kaeng Khoi, Saraburi Province.
    The temple is home to several sites of interest, such as the Phra Maha That Chedi Si Pasak, a large pagoda honoring the Pa Sak, and the Viharn Phra Buddha Siyard Nimitr Mongkol Munee Si Kaeng Khoi, a chapel containing a large reclining Buddha statue, built by Luang Phor La in memory of his mother .
