Alchemical glass (Thai: Met Rae ) is obtained by strongly heating
a rare type of stone found in the Uttharadit region.

Met Rae alchemical glass is a precious sacred substance
which protects against black magic and will make its wearer
invulnerable to venomous animals.
This alchemical glass Met Rae can also be used
to consecrate holy water Nam Mön
(you must then remove the cabochon from its reliquary before immersing it in water).
Caution: this type of glass is very sensitive to shocks and cracks easily.
