This rosary is made of striped agate beads from Tibet,
with added garnet and brass beads.

The mantra counters are also made of red agate,
with a dorje and a golden bell.

The head bead is made of a large agate bead,
and two beautiful brass mantra beads.

In ancient texts composed by Guru Rinpoche, dzi bead rosaries are explicitly mentioned as being excellent for practicing Vajrayana mantras.
