The Most Venerable Somdej Toh popularized Katha Chinabunchon in Thailand.
This is an ancient prayer that Somdej Toh received from a Venerable in Sri Lanka.
Somdej Toh corrected and improved the original Katha, making it easier to understand and pronounce.
Chinabunchon Katha is used for ceremonial chanting, blessing amulets, meditation, and protection. It is one of the most powerful ancient Kathas because it draws on the magical powers of many Buddhas and Arahants.
These Phra Somdej amulets from Wat Rakhang were consecrated in June 2008 during a grand ceremony by many Venerables.
