Jatukham Rammathep Amulet – Phra Téwarat Pothisat & Phra Rahu – Wat Phra Mahathat (2008)
Hand-painted Amulet – Special Consecration Edition – Nakhon Sri Thammarat
Magnificent and large amulet representing Phra Jatukham Rammathep , venerated as a form of protective bodhisattva (Phra Tewarat Pothisat) . This model was solemnly dedicated in 2008 at the famous Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan , a major sanctuary in Nakhon Sri Thammarat, the place of origin of the cult of Jatukham Rammathep.
The benevolent face of Phra Jatukham, seated in meditation, radiates gold against a red background, surrounded by blessings in Thai, Chinese, and Khmer characters. Lunar and celestial symbols overlook the scene, reinforcing the astral aspect of this representation.
🔄 On the back, we find Phra Rahu , the celestial demon that devours eclipses, here in a golden version on a red background, surrounded by flames of power. He is known to neutralize harmful energies, send back curses and promote favorable reversals of fortune.
This amulet is meticulously hand-painted and placed in a custom-made stainless steel reliquary (damaged by almost 20 years of wanderings around the necks of the faithful).
