This type of sacred stones (a variety of translucent agate) is considered
in Thailand as a relic of awakened Masters from the distant past.

They are called Hin Phratat
and ancient Thai tradition assures that these stones
can grow, change color, move and sometimes give off scents.
I myself (as well as several clients) have
witnessed some of these phenomena,
but of course cannot "certify" that the same thing will happen to you.

This type of relic stone is kept on one's altar, preferably in water.
They can also be added to a Buddha statue to charge it.
Some Masters also keep one of these stones in the bottom of their bowl
to Nam Mön holy water and say that these magical stones transmit
powerful blessings to water.
