Tibetan conch dice, handcrafted
by the Tibetan gentleman who is with me in the photo.

This gentleman is 91 years old and his achievements
are his only source of livelihood.
This type of ancient dice is often nowadays considered
as an amulet by the players,
they hide a pair in their pocket, or even pierce them
and sew them in the bottom of their pocket!
These magic dice are sold in pairs .
(each measures 12 to 15 mm on each side)
